Dr. Joseph Donnelly, Bio

Dr. Joseph Donnelly, Professor of Health and Nutrition Sciences, Montclair State University

Dr. Donnelly has been a faculty member at Montclair State University since 1996 in the Dept. of Health & Nutrition Sciences. His research interests lie in the area of adolescent health with special emphasis in alcohol, tobacco, and other drug education & prevention, teen pregnancy prevention, adolescent risk behaviors, and educational technology.

Dr. Donnelly has been awarded over 2 million dollars in federal and state funding within the areas of adolescents and adolescent health. He has presented nationally and internationally on both federal and state levels. He is the author and editor of two textbooks: "Mental Health: Dimensions of Self Esteem and Emotional Well Being" and "Health Counseling: Application and Theory".
