The Technology Training and Integration group hosted the 2015 Summer Institute for Online/Hybrid Teaching & Learning on June 9th & 10th. This two-day event showcased best practices on how to design effective instructional strategies, facilitate learner-centered interaction and collaboration, and create objective-oriented assessments. It also introduced emerging and effective instructional technologies that can be integrated into online/hybrid teaching to enhance student learning.
This was an excellent opportunity to learn best pedagogical practices from experienced colleagues and begin developing or enhancing your online/hybrid courses. A variety of activities such as faculty presentations, hands-on workshops and course design consultation sessions will be included in the event.
